Amber + Cyle [Engaged]

Oh Auburn, how I love thee. It always does my heart some good to be on the plains! (& not just because that is where my lovely fiance resides!)
Amber and Cyle will actually be getting married in Grand Bay, AL.. but their love story began in Auburn so that is where they chose for these photos. We started out on Samford lawn to get the typical AU shots, and then moved on to ag park to give their photos a little bit more of the southern feel that their wedding will have.

Long time, no blog!

I can’t believe I haven’t updated this blog since MARCH! That’s just shameful.
There are some big changes in the works for Bayleigh M. Photography, and I’m excited! Rather than try to catch you up on all of my clients since March (I mean really, who goes that long without updating?!?), I think I’ll just start fresh.
If you want to know what I’ve been up to photography wise, you can click on the facebook link to the right and check out some shoot. As in the ones I’ve been doing since March….
K. Moving on.
Since we last chatted, I’ve finished up at Auburn and moved back to good ole Mobile, AL. I’ve been so blessed to have this community support me in doing what I love! For the first time since 2008, I’ve increased my pricing. If you have any questions about how this will work, please e-mail me at bayleigh@bayleighmphotography.com

Also, a quick reminder- if you want a Christmas shoot, I will be closed from November 14- Christmas, so now is the time to get those shoots in! (I’m getting married at the beginning of December. WOOP WOOP)
And finally, a little teaser… cuz the old blog here could use a little pretty. 🙂 Coming at you tomorrow- an Auburn, AL engagement shoot!

See ya then, kids.

Hannah- Senior 2011

I have a small confession- any time someone contacts me for photos, I may or may not facebook stalk them. When I may or may not have been doing this with Hannah, I excitedly gasped. Why? Because I. love. her. hair.
When her preview hit facebook, it seemed everyone had similar sentiments. “Gorgeous hair”, “I love her hair”, “LOOK AT HER HAIR”.
So yea, Hannah? Rock that hair girlfriend.

Natalie- head shots

I did headshots with Natalie when I first started shooting. We decided it was time to freshen up her shots now that she was older, and I’m so glad she did! We spent a day together in Fairhope, stopping to shoot wherever we felt like it. It was a beautiful day, and so much fun!

Ashlynn & Elyse- Mommy & Me

I thought that mommy & me shoots were something I’d like to try out a while, and I was absolutely thrilled when Elyse took to the idea. There is just something so special about the bond between a child and their Mommy, and I think photos like these are going to be treasured by little girls when they are grown up!
I also want to do some Daddy & me shoots (with a more creative name, haha!) so if there are any Dad’s out there brave enough to step in front of my camera, let me know!

Alisha- Senior 2011

I’m not sure what it is, but Seniors out there LOVE railroad tracks. I would say that about 80% of the kids who contact me immediately let me know that they want somewhere with RR tracks. Alisha was another one of those seniors, so off to RR tracks we went!
She is a senior at Pascagoula HS, and cute as a button. For her shoot we met in Ocean Springs, MS. She was still deciding on where she would be going to school, but I know she’ll be just great no matter where she chooses!

Tara- expecting twins!

I love doing maternity shoots. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again- there are not many things as beautiful as an expectant mother! I was so excited when Tara contacted me wanting to document the pregnancy of her boys. That’s right, there are two in that belly!
Tara and I share a love for a lot of the same things. She wanted a shoot that was a classy-vintage, which is definitely a look I can run with! We had so much fun, and now I am anxiously awaiting the birth of Jackson and Easton! (I think she might be excited, too… haha!)

Heather and Steven [Married]

When Heather and Steven first contacted me, they were planning a June wedding. However I got a call from Heather in December, letting me know they were moving their wedding up. How much time did they have to pull everything off? About 3 weeks! Luckily, December 23 isn’t a very popular date, so they were able to have vendors for everything they needed. I am so impressed with the ceremony and reception they were able to pull off in such a short amount of time!
The ceremony was a sweet celebration of their love. It was small and intimate, with no bridal party outside of the bride and groom.

Right out of the ceremony- Steven’s cheeks were hurting from smiling so much! 🙂

Even though they didn’t have a bridal party, they did have a sweet toast from Steven’s best friend.

The father daughter dances are always my favorite part of the weddings I shoot!

I love how on the night of the wedding, the words “mr. & mrs.” put an immediate smile on a newly married couple’s face. 🙂

Congratulations to you both! I hope that married life is treating you well. 🙂

Kelsie- Senior 2011

Kelsie is one of my many younger cousins. She has such a sweet heart for the Lord, and no matter where she ends up for school next year, I know He will be glorified! It must do my Aunt Tammy’s heart so much good to see her little grow up into such a beautiful lady. 🙂
For her shoot, we stuck around her house in Lucedale, MS. We did a few outfits, but this one is my favorite. When I was driving up their driveway, the shed out back caught my eye, and I knew that was a place we would have to do a look!

Finally caught up! :)

Sorry for completely dominating all of your blogger/google readers for tonight, but with the exception of a few shoots, you guys are now caught up! Now just to do the same on my website, haha! I didn’t post any of my Christmas sessions, but you can see a few of them on my facebook. While you’re there, ‘like’ the page, and stop by and say hello every once in a while!
