Long time, no blog!

I can’t believe I haven’t updated this blog since MARCH! That’s just shameful.

There are some big changes in the works for Bayleigh M. Photography, and I’m excited! Rather than try to catch you up on all of my clients since March (I mean really, who goes that long without updating?!?), I think I’ll just start fresh.

Since we last chatted, I’ve finished up at Auburn and moved back to good ole Mobile, AL. I’ve been so blessed to have this community support me in doing what I love! For the first time since 2008, I’ve increased my pricing. If you have any questions about how this will work, please e-mail me at bayleigh@bayleighmphotography.com

Also, a quick reminder- if you want a Christmas shoot, I will be closed from November 14- Christmas, so now is the time to get those shoots in! (I’m getting married at the beginning of December. WOOP WOOP)

Natalie- head shots

I did headshots with Natalie when I first started shooting. We decided it was time to freshen up her shots now that she was older, and I’m so glad she did! We spent a day together in Fairhope, stopping to shoot wherever we felt like it. It was a beautiful day, and so much fun!

Thanks for trusting me again, Natalie! Enjoy the rest of your Freshman year! 🙂

Ashlynn & Elyse- Mommy & Me

I thought that mommy & me shoots were something I’d like to try out a while, and I was absolutely thrilled when Elyse took to the idea. There is just something so special about the bond between a child and their Mommy, and I think photos like these are going to be treasured by little girls when they are grown up!

I also want to do some Daddy & me shoots (with a more creative name, haha!) so if there are any Dad’s out there brave enough to step in front of my camera, let me know!

Sorry for completely dominating all of your blogger/google readers for tonight, but with the exception of a few shoots, you guys are now caught up! Now just to do the same on my website, haha! I didn’t post any of my Christmas sessions, but you can see a few of them on my facebook. While you’re there, ‘like’ the page, and stop by and say hello every once in a while!

Chancey family

I mentioned in the last post that I LOVE the relationships that you make along the way in this business. When I met Camille’s mom for her newborn shoot, we were fast friends. I had so much fun doing a family shoot for them when Camille was 6 months, and we’ve got her one year old shoot scheduled and ready to go. It’s crazy how fast these little ones grow up!

Donoghue family

I met the Donoghue family at Botanical Gardens, which as you know by now is a location I love! They were so much fun. I think one of my absolute favorite aspects of this line of work is the awesome people you get to know along the way. Cooper is so respectful yet SO entertaining, such a refreshing combo for a 4 year old!

 

Johnson family

Mrs. Vinnie was diagnosed with breast cancer this Summer, and she wanted to get some pictures with her girls before her hair fell out. Isn’t she beautiful?

I had a lot of fun with you guys! Thanks for giving me the honor. 🙂

When I was in the 4th grade, I had one of my favorite teachers of all time… Mrs. Bacon! Flash forward a 12 years, and I got to do a photoshoot with her sweet babies! It was so much fun, and so special to be asked to do this by someone who I’ve looked up to for so long. I hope I can take pictures of them from years to come- they are GORGEOUS!
We had our shoot at the Grand Hotel, where Mrs. Bacon’s husband asked her to marry him. 🙂

Sweet, sweet mommy-daughter moment.

I was so excited to have the chance to do pictures for Peyton!

She was my JV cheerleading coaches daughter, and the head cheerleading coach/my golf coach’s grand-daughter, and we all love her dearly! This is how I remember her: so young and running around tumbling and cheering!

Here she is now, all grown up, but still just as beautiful! She is trying out for middle school cheerleader this year. Where does the time go?

The day we took these pictures, it had rained all morning! We did the best we could, and decided to throw in an umbrella and rain boots. We worked around showers, and they turned out really cute!

We met up for a second part of the shoot, but I’ll save those photos for another day. I had dinner with Peyton’s family last weekend, and we had a great time in photobooth! Isn’t she a doll?

Ok Peyton- good luck with cheerleading, but stop growing up so quick!

Hey guys! I’m headed of to camp for another week. As soon as I get home, I’ll be posting lots of shoots I just finished! (Six! yes, Six! I’ve stayed busy!!)
